Winds Section
Mirco Inguaggiato undertook as self-taught the construction of these instruments, and after they have been enhanced and refined. He started this category with the construction of the pifferos, and after went on with the bagpipes “a paru” and the reed flutes typical of the pastoral Sicilian tradition. They are realized with seasoned timber, personally gathered in winter season, in waning moon nights.
Currently, the study of the reeds is leading to the construction of other kinds of wind instruments.
