Renaissance Guitar
In Mirco Inguaggiato’s laboratory the renaissance guitars are realized.
The models are personalized and constructed using high quality wood such as Rosewood, Curly Maple, Cherry tree and Mahogany: these are chosen by the musician, according to the aesthetic and the sound quality. The timber can be combined in different ways: with the alternation of different types of wood for the staves, or for the binding (from one to three rows of wood). In both of these cases the result is a beautiful chromatic patchwork that enhance the aesthetic of the instrument.
The soundboard is realized by Spruce Fir from Val di Fiemme (on demand it can be inlaid), the neck is made of Maple wood, the painting is realized with shellac. The pegheads are made of wood ((Rosewood, Ebony, Box tree), and on demand head alloy machines can be realized to make easier the keying in.
The turning fork can be variable (by custom 650 mm).
The aesthetic of the bindings and the headstock (carved or inlaid) is arranged and personalized by the lutist and the musician before the construction.
The rosette is made of vellum, and it has three layers fretworked by point of knife.
